1. Quotations

All quotations provided by Altrincham House Clearance are free of charge and without obligation. A quotation is an estimate based on the information provided by the client and the visual assessment of the property. The final price may be adjusted if the volume of items to be cleared is significantly different from what was initially assessed.

2. Booking and Cancellation

To secure a booking, a date and time will be agreed upon. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice so we can adjust our schedules accordingly.

3. Clearance Process

We will clear the agreed items from the property. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that all items intended for clearance are clearly identified and separated from items to be retained. We cannot accept liability for items removed that were not clearly marked to be kept.

4. Hazardous Materials

We do not remove hazardous materials, including but not limited to chemicals, asbestos, paint tins, gas cylinders, and clinical waste. If such items are found, we will inform the client, but the responsibility for their safe disposal remains with the client.

5. Payment

Payment terms will be agreed upon prior to the clearance. Generally, payment is due upon completion of the clearance unless otherwise arranged in advance.

6. Liability

While every care is taken during the clearance process, we cannot be held responsible for any accidental damage to the property that occurs during the normal course of removing items, such as minor scuffs to walls or floors. We strongly advise clients to ensure they have adequate household insurance.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
